Pursuant to CDC guidelines and Diocesan directives, Altar servers may now return to ministry.
Altar servers under the age of 12 should wear face coverings as suggested by the CDC.
To that end, we at Sacred Heart would like to invite new Altar servers and those who have served before to return to ministry the weekend of June 26/27.
For all servers whether new or returning we will all meet on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 3:00-3:45 PM in the church for new or recurrent training. The new servers that attended the training session on June 5 do not have to attend this meeting. For new servers we will schedule future training sessions as needed. Please be aware that this ministry is for boys and girls in grade 3 and older. The commitment involves being assigned to one of our three weekend Liturgies most often two or three times a month. We work diligently to have the server assigned to the Mass(s) which they request and at which other family members may be serving.
