About This Ministry
Adult Altar Servers are men and women who assist the priest and deacon at the altar during Sunday Masses, funeral Masses, Monday evening Mass and Benediction, and at occasional special liturgies. Adult servers serve on a rotational basis, and are called by the parish secretary when a funeral Mass is scheduled on weekdays.
Youth Altar Servers serve at the altar by assisting the priest and deacon at our Sunday Masses, weddings and special liturgies. Training is provided.
Who Can Serve
All adult members of the parish are invited to become Adult Altar Servers.
All students fifth grade and higher are invited to become Youth Altar Servers.
Responsibilities
Attendance at all scheduled liturgies. If unavailable for your scheduled time, you must find notify the director in advance or try to find a replacement.
Meetings
Dates, times and locations of general meetings and training sessions for this ministry will be announced.
Schedule
Altar Server schedules are posted online and in the weekly bulletin.
